The Threat of Cortizone Injections

This injury to my arm is worse than I thought. I'm being recommended to a specialist who is likely to use cortizone injections to loosen the muscle.
Oh yay. I just love needles.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news Russ (do people really call you that???? Really??? anyway cortizone injections hurt like hell and only last about a year. Try accupuncture, it really works. Would I lie to you oh bearer of great gifts.

You have lots of sympathy. I'm sorry I didn't give it to you earlier, when you owere 'ow, ow, ow"ing madly, but anything bad enough to need cortisone gets my sympathy.
Hi Fiona, I'm doing physio three times a week with the Wicked Witch Melissa, who is the most deliciously sarcastic woman I have met in a long time, and who has a perfectly evil laugh. She also has Fingers of Steel. I know it's about to hurt when she starts asking me questions to distract my attention!

I hope this injury isnt going to stop you writing Russell, I havent been made into a beautiful princess yet have to write that part before the arm is diabled.
Have you been to the health shop, can they advise you an something to take, what kind of sore is it, muscular or in the bone or ligaments aye?????? We need to talk more.

Bugger. Cortisone can work wonders and sometimes effects a permanent cure. Fingers crossed you get this sorted sooner rather than later.
