Goodness!
The UK cover design for my second novel, In the Earth Abides the Flame, is out. I found out about it right here, just now. I wonder how my wonderful web goddess found out about it and put it up?
Go and have a look. I think it's a stunner. I'm a sucker for a strong image, and this one is certainly strong. I've long been an admirer of Steve Stone's work, and I'm delighted he's doing my UK covers. Just to have had Steve Stone and Greg Bridges involved in my cover design is almost reward enough for all the hard work.
Now, Fiona is going to have to explain to me how she finds out about these things before I do ...

Yeah - it's a great cover, but i think i still prefer the Australian version...
Oh...what did you think of "Forest Mage"? Have you read any of her other books? I've read the Farseer Trilogy and the Liveship Traders, i'm now reading The Golden Fool (book 2 of the Tawny Man) and will eventually read "Forest Mage"
Super yummy!
:) Amazon.co.uk... That or my Super Magical Webgoddess Powers :D
And I guess I assumed you'd already seen it. Probably should have spelt out that the changes I suggested to the default nav bar were because of the new jacket, huh? ;)

Aaron, 'Forest Mage' was good, as was 'Shaman's Crossing', but they seem to be simpler books without the depth of plot and character. Hobb-lite.
I'm not sure why I haven't been sent the cover, Fiona, but I'm very grateful you put it up for people to look at. And how likely do you think it is that I even noticed the default nav bar changes?

Are you going to write a "book review" for Forest Mage
Probably not until I've read the last book in the series. I might though.
