Now reading: Carrie - Stephen King
I haven't blogged in a week. This is because I'm embarrassed to admit I've written only 7000 words this week. I need to write 3000 words a day to get this ms finished on time.
Erk.
I've noticed I start slow when writing a book, then gradually speed up. I'll get to my target daily production, but not for a month or so. In the meantime I'll continue to feel guilty.
I'd love to blame my tennis elbow - now in both arms - but it's not bad enough to prevent me typing (yet). Off to the sports doc on Thursday. Anything involving pain will be thoroughly reported. Stay tuned.
Finally, I caught wind of a review of Path of Revenge. I'm trying to track it down ...
Actually, I might blog on the subject of reviews. Someone remind me.
*crosses fingers and sends very good wishes your way* Hoping you do get it finished on time, wanting to know what happens next *g*

Ditto. And as for the pain ... you know the mantra. It's all good copy!!!!
I can't wait to read it so i hope you get it done! Btw how's "Carrie"? Are you enjoying it? Atm i'm half way through "the Stand".

Hi Aaron. I read 'Carrie' in a couple of hours and really enjoyed it. It's only the second King book I've read (apart from the seven Dark Tower books). I thought it was MUCH better than Cell.
A thousand or more words done today - now doing research on tornadoes.

Hi Aaron, what do you think of the Stand? It is about the only King book I haven't read and it apparently is his best.
Russell no comment on Dead Simple???? And all of Russells fans out there.....those few hundred thousand people eagerly awaiting his new book...I HAVE A SIGNED COPY. (I will take bids over $1000.)

Firstly Linda: It's LONG lol. Secondly, i'm finding it very interesting how the "plague" is spreading and all the character's stories are really interesting. I'm only half way but it is one of the better books of his i have read. I've read about 8. My favourite so far has been "Misery" i think.
Russell you should definately take a look at some of his others. I've read the first 3 books of the Dark Tower series but i havnt got round to the others, but i will. They're definately different. I havent read Cell.

Russell, I now have tennis elbow as well. You bugger, you made it contagious!
Actually, it's because my mouse placement with the new computer wasn't ergonomically helpful. Have you looked at that possibility?
As for King, I read Carrie, and it was okay. Then I read Pet Cemetary and I hated it so much I won't read any more of his work. I just found it so completely and unneccessarily nasty.
My favourite King book is The Green Mile, movie was just as god too I thought

Russell, you said to remind you on the subject of reviews. I am kindly reminding you because my stepfather's 80th birthday party is tomorrow and we have 70-80 people coming and I need light enterainment in the recovery period.
