Sir Julius Vogel award and Book Launch
31-May-2009It's been a great night. The launch of 'Beyond the Wall of Time' was a great success. My friend Donna Hanson launched the book in front of an enthusiastic and supportive bunch of fans at the NZ Natcon. Thanks to HarperCollins, to Donna and all those who helped out.
An hour later 'Dark Heart' was awarded the 2008 Sir Julius Vogel award for Best Novel - Adult. I am so pleased, as it was up against serious competition. It is such a wonderful validation of the Husk/Broken Man trilogy.
Russell is officially happy!

I'm sure this question gets asked a bunch but does Russel or any of the fans lurking here know when BTWOT will be released in the US more specifically than late 2009? I've been eagerly awaiting it's release so I can go buy all three books and consume them all over the course of a weekend ;)

It is a great series Russ and it was my honour to be asked to launch it. I'm so glad it went well. And being there when you won the award was awesome too. It is great to have friends around when experiencing special moments is it not?
